"At Santander (Spain), walls have ears, streetlights have eyes, pavements and rubbish bins are talking. Dumpers warn when it is time to empty them. The lawns of Pereda’s gardens directly request a little of water. Parking spaces notify when they are free and public lighting adjusts to the brightness of an afternoon thunderstorm or a moonlit night. All of this is happening thanks to thousands of sensors hidden under the asphalt or buried in the municipal gardens. They are also installed on street furniture, bus rooftops, taxis and police cars! (In La Tribune.fr, 7/11/14, D. Cuny)".
Well, Santander becomes a part of my project around the NBIC revolution (read the entire project in There are More Things). I will tell you more soon.
